Ghost cicadas (scientifically known as Ayuthia spectabile), also called the White Ghost Cicada or Milky Cicada, are considered rare and elusive. They live hidden up in dense tropical canopies and have a very short adult life span -often lasting only about 1-2 weeks after spending many years underground as nymphs. We only use ethically sourced cicada wings preserved from natural deaths, giving these insects a second life while supporting conservation farms.

These are real Ghost Cicada wings that have been carefully edged in 24kt gold leaf paint then preserved in resin. We've added AAA Moonstone in vermeil settings and 24kt gold plating over stainless steel chunky huggies. Hypo-Allergenic, nickel and lead free.
